Surf the net anonymously – Hide from Google

You’ve probably seen Google’s new blurb on the internet about combining privacy policies into one ‘simpler’, easy to understand policy. While that sounds good, you probably just skipped reading the fine print, and didn’t realize that Google is slowly building an online profile of you. Of course, this has good and bad points to it. The good is that they can better customize the internet to your specifications. The bad news is that they want to know everything about what you do online. For some people, this can be a be unnerving. To hide from Google, first off, you need to be signed out of your Gmail account when you access the internet. Second, you need to surf the internet with IP hiding software like a virtual private network.
